
Dr. Teresa D. Adams DDS
The practice philosophy is to provide to all patients with personalized and efficient dental treatment in a caring manner. This treatment can be provided in a state-of-the-art, high-tech environment where your comfort and dental health are of utmost importance to us. People with dental anxiety or fear find they are unable to receive needed dental care. Our practice offers Sedation Dentistry, along with our Spa-like amenities. We provide family dentistry and full reconstruction of troubled mouths.
Dr. Teresa D. Adams was born in Lexington, Kentucky, and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors degree in Social Work. While she was a student, she was a patient at the University of Kentucky dental school where she developed an interest in dentistry. After being a social worker for five years, she decided to attend the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) in 1982.
After practicing dentistry in Kentucky for three years, she decided to join the United States Navy and was commissioned as Lieutenant. She was on active duty for four years, at which time she was stationed in Orlando, Florida, and Camp Lejuene. She left the Navy upon the birth of her first child, at which time she and her family moved to Virginia where her husband was stationed at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital. When her husband retired from the Navy in 1995, they moved to Ellicott City when he took a position at the VA hospital in Baltimore. He is a podiatrist and runs a residency program at the hospital. Â
Dr. Adams has been practicing dentistry in Ellicott City for the past 12 years. She is a Captain in the United States Navy Reserves, having completed 22 years of service.

- Member of Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
Dr. Adams has three children: Emily, a freshman at Elon University, Eric, a sophomore at Centennial High School, and Erin, an eighth-grader at Burleigh Manor Middle School. She also has a cat named Patrick and a dog named Sparky. Her favorite activities are tennis and keeping up with her children.

Dr. Siegel DDS
Dr. Siegel has been practicing dentistry for 28 years. He believes that good training and experience, together with courteous and caring treatment, should be the cornerstone of any good dental practice. That is why Dr. Siegel has combined hours of advanced training and continuing education with a comfortable office environment.
Dr. Siegel received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York before continuing his education by attending dental school at Georgetown University, receiving his DDS degree in 1978. After graduation, he remained with the University as a clinical instructor from 1979 until 1987 while building and maintaining a private practice. Dr. Siegel is an active participant in the dental community, where he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Southern Maryland Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America.


Meet Our Staff:
Nicole is one of three assistants in our practice. She was taught dental assisting in a private practice, went to school for radiology, and studied on her own for the Dental Assistant State Exam. She is QDA certified and has been an assistant for 18 years. Nicole is from Trinidad, married, and has three children.
Danielle has been assisting for 18 years. She has her CDA, QDA, and DRT. She was a dental assistant instructor and has worked in many areas of dentistry. She is currently working toward a degree in Dental Hygiene. Danielle is from Maryland, she is married, and has Rottweiler named Payton.
Michelle is our full-time hygienist. She graduated from BCCC in May 1994 and has been with Soft Touch Dental Care for 13 years. She is from Maryland, is married, and has twin boys who are 9 years old and a German Sheppard dog named Bear.Â
Lola is the Insurance/Financial Coordinator. She was a Certified Dental Assistant for four years and a Supervisor/Instructor for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida for 20 years. With over 27 years of experience, she is eager to assist our patients with their Insurance and Financial needs. She is a native Floridian born in Jacksonville. She and her husband moved to the Columbia area 7 years ago. They have three children and four grandchildren (all of them are in Florida). She goes home as often as she can to visit and to warm up!
Michele is a Qualified Dental Assistant who has been assisting for 6 years. She’s been with Soft Touch Dental Care since 2003. Michele and her
husband, Dave, have two boys, Brandon and Noah. They also have two dogs: Rajah is a Rottweiler and Daisey is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Dave is active duty
in the Air Force.
Mary is our Patient Coordinator. With a medical and dental background in oral surgery, orthodontics and orthopedics, she brings a unique understanding of the patient experience to our team. She loves the arts, travel, reading and working with people. She is periodically involved in fund raising events for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. |
