Cosmetic dentistry is the science and art of creating beautiful teeth and a beautiful smile. Cosmetic Procedures:
Can be done with many cosmetic dental techniques that will enhance your smile.
- Whitening is a procedure done with the Zoom light in the office and with take-home whitening trays. It brightens teeth that are discolored or stained.
- Bonding can enhance the appearance of teeth that are chipped, broken, cracked, and stained. This is done with tooth-colored materials. You can also replace those dark fillings in the back of the mouth.
- Porcelain Veneers. There are times when the demands for cosmetic enhancements in the mouth are great for simple bonding. Veneers are made from porcelain that is fabricated in a dental lab. Veneers can last for 18-20 years with proper hygiene care and home care.
- Porcelain Crowns and Onlays are fabricated in the office on a computer called Cerec. It allows us to take digital pictures in the mouth using a wand and customize a porcelain crown or onlay for you. The crown or onlay is bonded in this same appointment visit.
- Porcelain fused to Gold Crowns. These crowns are fabricated in a dental lab.
- Bridges are made to replace teeth that were extracted or never developed.
